Steeler Predictions
Steeler Predictions
Both Mikes on the Mike and Mike show (I listen to a lot of ESPN sports radio) picked the Steelers to go 10-6 this season!!??
10-6, this from the Championship team that basically stayed the same and arguably improved from last year??
Mendenhall is healthy, big and fast, and some good solid draft choices that might actually see some playing time. And a very fast kick returner has been added, considering last years kick return game was not pretty.
I say:
12-4 again.

13-3
The defense is going to be devastating. Lead the league again.
Our special teams is greatly improved with Sepulveda back punting and the mighty mite in Logan returning kicks.
The O-Line is a little improved with Essex taking over for Stapleton.
We won with a shoddy line last year,I think we could do it again.
Tomlin has them ready unlike Cowher in his lame duck year.
Let's all watch,shall we?

For the love of God, stop. You didn't win anything. The Steelers did. Stop the rampant outbreak of homerism in PA. If you aren't on the field or the sidelines or the payroll of the Steelers (or insert fave team here), you can't say "We". You had nothing to do with it. Sorry, don't mean to be doucheish, but it's my main sports fan pet peeve.Plastered Bastards wrote:13-3

BTW, Steelers go 12-4 and win #7.

13-3 -- Its too hard to get thru a season with 2 or fewer losses.
Last year, they had the toughest schedule in the NFL, had injury problems and went 12-4.
This year, they have two of the three weakest divisions on their schedule -- the NFC North and AFC West. Easy schedule + healthy = very few losses.

Best remedy for an 8-in-the-box & over blitzing. Besides, Collins just did one. Apparently Tennessee has a 70s playbook.undercoverjoe wrote:The screen pass died in the 70's.lonewolf wrote:Conditions are right for some screen passes. Do you think they'll call some? EDIT: Too bad Ben is still dancing around to avoid sacks, unsuccessfully, I might add.
