Looks like they took a synthesizer and changed the design of it a little bit ..

yea, instead of patching to different samples, they just make one set of buttons per sample. that's not new. been done. and i think a keytar looks cooler anyway.

Blah... in the video there are 3 guys trained to play the thing, and they still needed cheesy sequenced drums and the music was... well... lame.

I'd like to see Ted Nugent shoot one of those with a 12 gauge.
... and then the wheel fell off.

Ted Nugent should just turn it into a 12 gauge, it'll have some use then, its just a novelty instrument that you'll see from a board walk musician.
The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

It is probably good for playing European techno music. And not much more. Cheesy techno.

Innovative, but if that video is indicative of the tonal range the instrument is doomed to muzak and modern fusion applications exclusively.

lol thats what those reminded me of. I was watching the video and recognize them from something.
