I think Journey is back with this new awesome lead. He sounds amazing doesn't he? He's going to make them a lot of $. he looks good, he sound's great.

He has been with them for a couple of years now. He is the closest to Steve Perry I have ever heard. They are still not Journey without Steve Perry, though.

Absolutely, he can never be replaced. I don't know what the "new" stuff that someone said wasn't good but this new lead is great from what i've seen and heard so far. But what do i know, you guys are the experts. just a fan.

I went to the Journey show a couple weeks ago in Reading. I've probably seen them at least 10 times with 2 new singers, this show was the worst. First time I've left a Journey show early. Schon and Valory looked totally bored, Cain acted like he was somewhere else, Deen the drummer seemed like he was the only one into it. Sure, Pineda has the pipes, but he does not have the polish or stage presence that the other guys had. It was like he just stepped out of the local bar. Sometimes also, it was hard to follow the lyrics with his broken English. I read on the Journey web Schon says, after this tour we are "Taking a break". By the way, the show was not a total loss, Heart stole the show.

that's odd because his English sounds great in these vids, and his stage presence seems superb esp for a new lead internalizing the persona of a rock band of almost 40 yrs.

he looks great and sounds great to me. I like the new fresh look he brings.
