i said to myself before i looked at the link " i bet srv's performance is on there". it is.

i couldn't even bring myself to watch it cuz i remember how bad it was from a long time ago. BAD.

he was a mess right around then, my daughter plays better bottleneck than that.

I knew Roseanne Barr would be on there, even thought her performance was supposed to be a joke anyway (notice the words SUPPOSED TO BE).

Yeah, SRV's was really bad, but he was really messed up at that time in his life. Probably played the slide so that when he hit a wrong note, it's easier to slide & try to sound like you are improvising than it is by fretting notes.
