Mushroomhead & BSL (Chaperoning highly recommended!)

Post by rreihart »

I went to the Backstreet Law & Mushroomhead show last night at the Crowbar. The show was incredible! I did the chaperone thing where you agree not to drink alcohol and you get into the show for free and get all the water and soft drinks you can keep down, also for free. The way I figure it, I basically got paid to be at a great show! And for a Monday night, I still made it to work on time today and I am really not draggin' too badly. So, if you are 25+, I highly recommend checking out the next big all-age show that comes to town. Why not, when all it'll cost you is gas money (and a $1 if you check your coat) and a good time!

NOPE! 2nd time I went to a show that was supposed to be Mushroomhead & Motograter and 'grater didn't show! Hopefully, they will show at the Odeon in Cleveland next Friday night as I will be there and plan on attending that show.

The doorman said something about Motograter's singer blowing his voice out. It was a great show nonetheless! We wimped out and paid $15 to sit upstairs. The chaperone system is great, but we didn't want to risk getting destroyed in the pit. I'm too damn sexay to die just yet.

Anyone remember Mushroomhead's infamous Aldo's gig? Talk about chaos!

I remember that Mushroomhead Aldo's gig well! I think that is the most frightened I've ever seen Aldo look during a show!

I wish I could have made it to Crowbar for that show, but Mondays are tough for me to get out for shows...

I got to hang out with mushroomhead a little bit monday and my friend was there all day with them during sound check and what not, but according to him, Dope's singer blew out his voice and motograter could very possibly be done. From what I hear they are a 3 piece now because two of the other guys walked.

That's the word anyway.

I sure hope that Motograter isn't calling it quits. That is one of the best albums of this year!

I'm glad I didn't go. If I would have went, it would have been for Motograter.

Motograter is not broken up. Bruce and Joey are not on this tour due to legal issues with their label. They have a fill in guitar player and bass player. All is well with the guys and the tour.
