What band would it be....

Post by gibson980 »

If you could join a band from the past for one tour, all the parties, the lifestyle and seeing it first-hand what they went through....

Mine would be "not even my favorite band, but very good"

Fleetwood Mac in the 1970's -
A) Because they sounded great live
B) Stevie Nicks and the other bitch was HOT back in the day! I'd try to get me some of that!

I could name a ton, but I think that'd be a trip.

The Ramones when punk was putting disco out of its misery. Maybe Jefferson airplane just as Grace Slick was entering the picture. How's that for 2 totally different scenarios? Lol

Def Leppard during the Hysteria tour. Playing in the round has awesome seemed cool to me. Plus they had orgy's under the stage during the concert.
Videos destroyed the vitality of rock and roll. Before that, music said, "Listen to me." Now it says, "Look at me."

The Allman Brothers when Duane was still alive. Just to be able to play "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" one time with them.

WOW. Thin Ice. I was a big fan back then and new John Stevens from school at Southern Huntingdon.
Mine would be ... KISS anytime. The Scorpions "Live at First Sting" Tour.
Iron Maiden - any tour especially Life After Death
Gotta go with Def Leppard with the in the round
Motley Crue - anytime

Led Zeppelin during the early 70's.
Motley Crue during the "Girls, Girls, Girls" tour. Anyone that's read the book "Dirt" will understand why :)
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.

DOH! I was going to see if he'd talk smack about me. Actually, I've known Jeff since I was in 1st grade at Smithfield Elem. He was my brother Charlie's buddy in grade school, and even went to Cub Scouts with us.--->JMS
