Can anyone explain to me why Skillet is playing with a Christian rapper (TobeyMAC)? That is just too strange a pairing for me. LOL

Yes, Skillet is a Christian Rock Group. They are also going to be at Creation this year. I want to go to that one. There outside concerts with the pyros and such are awesome.

Actually used to like what TobyMac did in days with DC Talk. Havent heard much of solo stuff but this looks like would be a pretty cool concert.

Of they were going for the hot kitchen metaphor, Skillet should have called themselves Three Days Grease. That way their name and their music would both be copies.

I like them a lot actually, plus i heard their great live. But I have to agree, their new song is totally a wanna-be 3dg song.

i saw skillet in concert with shinedown and puddle of mudd. Their drummer is a fuckin animal, and shes pretty hot too. Over all they rocked pretty hard.

Yes, Skillet will be at the 2010 Creationfest Christain Music festival in Shirleysburg (Mt. Union area) this year along with Switchfoot, Decemberadio, Newsboys, Red, Thousand Foot Crutch, Casting Crowns, David Crowder Band, and more. I just posted the festival lineup web link in the events section.
