not much exp in band scene yet, would like to get out there for once.

Yeah dude, a lot of bars have a strict "21 or over policy." Some will let "band minors" in with at least one person of age to act as supervisor.
Put on shows for your friends for now...build your following...and when you all get old enough, go give em hell!
