Your Ampeg is a self-contained head with both preamp and power amp sections housed in the same unit, so there is really nothing else to add in terms of functionality to your rig. Personally, I'd add a rack-tuner, such as a Korg DTR-1000. They are excellent units, and if you route your signal correctly, you can silent tune so that you're muted both through your stage rig and through the front of house (if you send a DI signal to the board).
Other than that, my suggestion is to make sure every piece you add is high-quality and fuctional with regard to your overall sound. If you add a $200 multi-FX unit, I guarantee that you'll be introducing a bottleneck into your signal chain that willl add noise and color your sound. Likewise, if you want compression, don't skimp on a cheap compressor. Sonic Maximizer's are cool, but in my experience, quality speakers make the need for one moot.

Yea,I haven't played a gig with it yet but I took it to practice last week along with the SWR 6x10 and it was vibrating the concrete floor and shakin' the pant legs at 9 o'clock on the master,I was actually louder than Botteicher, haha. You know when you have a good amp when it sounds good with very minimal eq'ing. I got a killer deal on it too-it's 4 1/2 years old with new tubes just put in-$630.00,lol....It's a $1500 amp new, needless to say I'm extremely happy!!!!!

You will need a power conditioner. You can spend anywhere from $50 to $500+ on these, depending on the level of conditioning. You DO NOT want to buy one of these that is well-used with a lot of hours because many of the components gradually break down from use.
I have a low-cost one that is commonly used in guitar rigs for sale:
