P90x - Anyone here try it?

Post by f.sciarrillo »

I borrowed this and insanity from a friend and would like to know if anyone here has done it ? If so, how were your results? and how did it actually make you feel?

Went through P90X twice..... Got good results... You just got to make sure your eating right, and stick with it. The workouts are no joke. You will be huffin and puffin, and very sore the first week or two....

I was already in decent shape when I started, and it wipped my ass the first week, but after that I was good. I'm a nut though, and push myself till I nearly puke every time. If you are overweight, a smoker, or just plain out of shape, start slow. Could definatly be a heart attack in the waiting.......

The only workout I don't like is Kempo. I took years of Kempo in the past, and have to say that it's just a joke. You'll get tired out, somewhat, but it's not good technique. I do Plyometrics twice a week instead of Kempo......

I took a look at some of the videos as skimmer and saw that they say to keep your core tight throughout the workout. I am still trying to figure out what that means?

Yep.... Pretty much that.... It's pretty hard not to in most of the workouts though.
