Avatar being re-released to theaters and imax next month

20th Century Fox is re-releasing Avatar to Theaters in 3d and Imax next month. Can someone please answer two questions for me.

1. Why?
2. How do get back the time I wasted watching it the first time?

I WILL NEVER WATCH THIS MOVIE.

I cant believe they are gonna put it in the theaters AGAIN. Why????
Release it on dvd and bluray or whatever people are using now and be done with it!

I saw it in theaters in 3D, it was impressive, but I don't think it needed to be in 3D.

I bought the Blu-Ray, & I was right. The movie loses nothing in 2D.

It's a very predictable story, but it is a good movie. I don't know why everyone bashed it the way they did. Maybe it's that whole "I gotta hate anything popular" train of thought?

Never saw it. Don't care. I don't see the point of going out to see a movie that I can go buy anywhere for less than twice the price of a theater ticket, especially if it's worth watching again. If it isn't,... Hell, I'm not spending any extra money!

i got it, and to have yet watched it. a lot of people told me it was worth watching, i just dont have the time any more to sit through a three hour movie.

my girl said the same thing about 3d- 2d comparison she said it wasn't worth spending the extra money on 3d we have it and i thought it looked cool on dvd there isnt much of a diff on it.

Yeah, IMO, it looks better in 2D on my 47" LCD on Blu-Ray, than it did in the Theaters in 3D.

Great movie! The camera system was designed by Cameron for this flick. It was made for 3D. Great time at the theater with my wife and kids. I just wish the cost was not so high to go to the theater!

I have to take three kids and a wife every time we go!

Gonna go check out Inception soon...
