This guy is really impressive.... This is one of the ways Knopfler plays it live. This guy does a great job.

That was pretty good. I always liked the hybrid picking style. I could never get comfortable doing it to fancy me doing it all the time, though. Something about a pick just feels better.

I also think Felix covers the tune with more raw emotion and just as good technique. The style in the video is not true hybrid picking which would typically include a flat pick between thumb and index, in place of a thumb pick, and finger picking in the "Travis" style with fingers 2,3, and maybe 4. A difficult but effective technique.

Great tone and ability. The girl doesn't do too bad either (on her second video).
