Yeah I have a book on Gibson Guitars and thats in there, I likeit, although most dont, however with that being said, I dont think it would play that well, more looks than anything!

I think they did those with the idea that they might appreciate in value, or become legend, like the Moderne did. Or, it could have been that they could literally make this guitar using many of the same factory jigs and parts of the Flying V, and still be different.
Or maybe it's a Bangladesh-made knock-off.
