So Cathy said to our two (soon to be three) year old grandson, "How was play school today". With incredible enthusiasm he said, "I didn't bite anyone today, I had a great day !"

That's really all that's needed. As adults, we forget to have fun because we have too many worries. Ease a few of those worries and throw special plans for a reintroduction of "free time", and really,... That'd probably solve some issues for this planet! Heh
