Puff daddy's version of "Every breath you take" I hated that from the first time I heard it. If you want the video I'm sure it's on youtube but I just didn't have it in me to even look for it.

there are lots of bad covers out there, but I will tell you what I like Disturbed's cover of Land of Confusion and Five Finger Death Punch version of Bad Co. those were both better than the originals imo.

I was watching the recent live video of Roger Waters with David Gilmour playing Comfortably Numb on You Tube and this video was listed along the side with additional related videos. I clicked on it and could not believe how bad it is.

I'm pretty sure they use this at the poison center to induce vomiting. The worst thing about hearing this is the fact that now I can never "un"hear it.

Limp Bizkit - "Behind Blues Eyes"

For how "tough" Limp Bizkit was, they completely skipped the "rock out" part of the song and did some record scratching bullshit instead.

Of course, it's not a sure thing that they would have got it right if they tried. Maybe they did and it was so horrible they just gave up.

Either way, they never should have covered it - total blasphemy.

I've got 2 entries:

1) "Simple Man" as done by Shinedown. He sings "All that I want from you my son, is to be satisified" instead of Skynyrd's "...want FOR you..." The line has a dramatically different meaning.

2) "Landslide" from Billy Corgan. 'nuff said on that one.
