You cant let things bother you so much. Its just a forum. Its just the internet. You dont have to read every thread. I stay out of politcal threads mostly. I dont even read half the threads here anyway. if the subject doesnt interest you, dont read it and stress yourself out over the content. Life is much better that way.

About the Political Arena thread.....the whole point of it was to centralize the political rants, so they dont over-run RP like it has in the past. Im SO happy those guys are using that thread for the most part. Would you rather see 300 political threads? Or let them have their massive arena for themselves?
You cant have it any way you want it. This isnt a Journey song. Shit just doesnt work like that.

MJB- Dont leave something you (may) enjoy because of other people's posts. Why reprimand yourself for other people's actions and opinions?

i understand where you're going. i do scan the political thread and read some of the posts. politics does interest me a little bit, but most of the that entire thread has turned into name bashing. thats what sucks.

i hope mjb stays here.

Yeah, I agree. I don't open football threads, or current-music threads, because they don't interest me. Outside of one guy, the political threads are generally civil, or at least adult in their tactics. There's always going to be at least one kid in every kindergarten who slaps the toys out of the other kids' hands, because his mom doesn't pay enough attention to him.

checking in for the first time. ireally like rp and it has done wonders for my musical whatevers and i consider alot of the people on here my friends either cause i've been in a band with ya or jammed with ya or just hung out with ya at a show or we have like musical intrests but when i here my friends calling each other names and beating each other down it just bums me out and i just don't get it. carry on, i'll check in from time to time and will just stay away from the politics thread cuz i just don't like to see my friends in that light.

I like that mjb. We're passionate about our political stances and we get beyond the normal politically correct language. I'm a major offender. But I/ we would hope you stay and be a part of the RP community.
