Did you get it also? I got an advance copy last week and agree that it is awesome.

Absolutely, I agree...their music is so complex & can be best described by one of their album titles, "Systematic Chaos". DT truly are masters of their craft.

Good album

I like their stuff, I am not friends with a band member or publicist or anything like that so I don't get an "Advance Copy", but as a musician DT is one of the bands that I go get the day it comes out. Gotta love music and if you love it you gotta support it..

Good album.

I think I liked "Black Clouds & Silver Linings better but am not sure yet...

I do like the DVD and the documentation of the audition process, pretty cool.

It sounds like Rudess had a much bigger influence on it (which I like for obvious reasons). The arrangements are about as complex as anything they've ever put out, while at the same time, somehow keeping the songs almost catchy.

I just wished they used some of the riffs from when they were trying out the drummers frmo the DVD. Some of that stuff that isn't on the album sounded really cool.

ha ha...DarkeSoul actually dled it and burned it to a disc for us the other day, but we will eventually go out and buy a copy just to support the band (and thats one of the few bands, other than locals, that we do that for religiously). I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but from what I've heard I like it, though I think I enjoyed their last one a little more. Perhaps I'll give it a few more listens and then make up my mind.

I think every album has it's differences. I really dig the new stuff. Rudess is very prevalent in this album, and he is amazing.

Rob, I just want to point out that possessive pronouns do not contain apostrophes.

I think every albums has its differences.

You're welcome.
