That's a very good question. I like "Nothing compares to u" by Sinead O'Connor, and "Just a friend" by Biz Markie. I couldn't name another song that either of these singers released.
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.

I can name a ton of them, but off the top of my head, Billy Thorpe's "Children of the Sun."

Billy was a megastar in his native Australia, but "Children" was his only acclaim on this side of the Pacific pond.

Brandy by Looking Glass. That song has incredible vocals & feeling. Everytime I hear it I wanna sing along to the chorus. It never gets old.

Ides Of March actually had a several hits. Jim Peterik of Ides Of March was also in Survivor, who had a lot of hits including "Burning Heart" (#2), "The Search Is Over" (#4), "High on You" (#8) and "I Can't Hold Back" (#13) and many others.
