Agreed. Stop all SBA loans, end all special-interest tax breaks and incentives for business, lay off all corporate lobbyists, and renegotiate all gov't contracts with contractors, as well.

Agreed, as long as we also allow patients to buy drugs from Canada, and heavily regulate the pharmaceutical co's so they can't extort 10,000% profit from drugs people need. Take Viagra and other erectile dysfunction drugs off Medicare & Medicaid pay schedules, and ADD birth-control pills.

Agreed, and replace it with single-payer coverage. Oh, and keep provisions regarding maximum payouts, pre-existing conditions, children on parents' policies, and end-of-life care.

Agreed, and either enforce it, or replace it with something with more teeth, something that actually benefits somebody other than suits.
lonewolf wrote: #5: Repeal Sarbanes-Oxley
Agreed. Replace it with something FAR more regulatory, with jailtime for execs, and company shutdowns for everyone else involved, based on "corporate personhood." Creative finance is not to be toyed with. Spare the rod and spoil the triple-breasted power-suited child.

No loopholes for anybody for anything. Capital gains and dividends are considered income, but not the sale of primary residences.
Totally agree, but it'll never, ever happen. The people who pay for elections and laws will scuttle the USA before they allow that to happen. Their entire system is based on internalizing profits and assets, and externalizing responsibilities and liabilities. They enjoy a sense of entitlement that is without equal in all of history, and self-interest aside, many here agree.
