I have a pre fender SWR Engineering 6x10 4 ohm cab for sale. Works great. Just can't use it with my set up right now. asking $400

Yeah and if I could find a way to make it 8 ohms I would keep it

You can achieve a 10 ohm resistance if the speakers are 16 ohm.

That wouldn't hurt anything running out of a 8 ohm head correct? If the impedance is greater than the ra.ting on the head. I want to run this cab 8ohm bridged mono out of my David Eden world tour 600

Running a 10 ohm cabinet off an 8 ohm output is not a problem.

Those are only theoretical numbers anyway. Impedance varies wildly with the frequency of the signal. Getting to with 25% of rated impedance should be OK.

Thanks folks!! Then this cab is no longer for sale . Wish I would of known this about 6 months ago.

as long as the impedance of the speaker is greater than the output impedance of the amp, you are fine. If the speaker is less than, it can cause much damage to the amp.....blown output transformer, blown caps, grid resistors, and the likes
