He isn't even "A" quaterback.f.sciarrillo wrote:Tebow isn't a starting quarterback.jetcitywoman wrote:That doesn't make any sense does it?f.sciarrillo wrote:Tebow is officially a New York Jet. He is going to be the backup quarterback with Sanchez being the starter.
Who the hell is in charge over there??
The belief is that Tebow might be used in developing a wildcat system on the Jets' offense, since he is a run-and-gun type of quarterback.
It will be interesting to see what happens if Mark Sanchez gets off to a slow start or throws several pics early in the season, if "Tebow-mania" then erupts in the Big Apple like it did in Denver...

long time
I have been listening to people say Tebow isn't a quarterback for too long to begin believing it now...
We shall see! It is going to be a fun season!
Andrew Luck is going to be fun to watch also...
RG3! Redskins with a QB? Go figure...

He's just a big moron that slipped thru the cracks into the NFL. He's not NFL material., should be seliing insurance, or cars

Just read that Tebow thinks he can beat out Sanchez for the starting. If any Sanchez is one he could beat..that guy's alful too!
Tebow made a strike in the post season last season that should give some people solid evidence that he can hit a target. That fact should be fresh in local minds. And on a personal note, in a fair few NFL-designed plays, the TE is on the right side anyway, which means the left is often left unguarded. Being a lefty helps him there
The real issue for the Jets with Tebow in mind is, they're using a specialty-designed QB system, which is going to hurt the Jets for one good reason... You can almost read the play-calling when Tebow comes out. Sanchez and Tebow are so drastically different in playing styles that it will actually hinder them using their strengths, unless a particular team has issues with one of them. Reading them like a book shouldn't be hard. I wonder if it'll be Sanchez this time, or Tebow again, who will put the final shot on the Steeler season...

My god you are a retard. I'm not a Tebow fan by any mean, but your logic is just unbelievable. You're implying that he cannot have success because he's a lefty.jetcitywoman wrote:

Do the names Steve Young, Boomer Easiason, Jim Zorn, Ken "The Snake" Stabler, Mark Brunell, and Michael Vick ring a bell? All former (and one current) starting QBs in the NFL. All left handed. Learn something at a real football site like, oh, I don't know, www.nfl.com instead of your Bleacher Report.

Your comprehension skils might need a little fluffing. He's a no talent bum and can't throw (usually a plus if they can throwToonaRockGuy wrote:My god you are a retard. His ONLY claim to fame is he is big and strong. A physical specimen. BFD. Many a big strong guy can't play NFL.
Now add to that he's a leftie in a right-handed game. Last nail in the coffin. He'll never be anything more than a 3rd string backup (mark my words)

He was a starter last season but they traded him, why is that? took them into the PO's why not keep him as a 2nd stringer?Naga wrote:So is that why he was a STARTER last season, and in this season, he's going to be 2nd string, and only until Sanchez screws up?
J Elway thinks he's a bum. thats enough for me

seriously i'll tell you why, ever see someone flip heads 7 or 8 times in a row? that's Tebow, he'll never do it again.

Wasn't trying to hit below the belt, Frank. I root for the Steelers by proxy since I live here, but I am a die-hard Saints fan. It still pains me to have to watch the Tebow play against the Steelers at work about 23 times per 9-hour shift on the big screens. It makes me ill.f.sciarrillo wrote:That is great way to hit below the belt, KevinToonaRockGuy wrote:Tebow beat the Steelers. In the playoffs. On a pass play. With his left hand. You lose.
But my point was to nosurrender...errrr...jetshittywoman...that to say that Tebow can't succeed because he's a left handed QB is stupid. To say that he can't throw is stupid. And to say that he'll be nothing but a 3rd string QB (mark her words) shows that there is no football knowledge whatsoever in her head.
Not a Tebow fan, but I'll give it up...dude can ball.
