Official "Favorite Song Of The Moment" Thread

Post by ToonaRockGuy »

Let's see how long we can keep this one going!

Rules are simple: Anytime you feel like it, just list whatever song is your favorite at the moment. Doesn't have to be new, no restrictions on genre, artist, or anything.

I'll start.

For the past two days, I've been stuck on a local song, "11:00 PM" by Spoonchatter, from their new album Homespun, which I'm reviewing Sunday night on the "Backyard Rocker." The album has a Ben Folds Five-meets-Billy Joel flavor to it; this tune is a little darker - very cool!

According to iTunes, my favorite song is "Copacabana". WTF? That's what you get for letting other people jam out on your laptop.

The hot item in my stereo at the moment is the forthcoming Kate Bush disc, "Aerial". Good stuff if you can tolerate ol' Special K. I'm amazed it even exists . . . it's the "Chinese Democracy" of adult alternative.

Holy Diver by Dio. Saw an older South Park episode last night where Dio played at the school dance and performed Holy Diver. Song's been stuck in my head since.

"Round Here" by Counting Crowes
"Will the Future Blame Us" - Our Lady Peace

These two have been on repeat in my iPod all day, and thankfully I have my own office within which to only annoy myself......

It's from Tool's Aenima album. The jewel case to that CD is interactive and you can create movement with the various pages of the insert booklet by shifting the case. You can actually make the guy's head go up and down while he's performing auto-felliato
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.
