I've heard that Metallica was one of them as well as Soulfly haven't heard anything else. They did say something that it was only rumored about Metallica, GOD we can only hope.

All of those band would SUCK ASS at ozzfest. Sepultura is doing FINE without Max. Fuck reunions anyway. Soulfly is OK, but that would be a waste of a band slot. Metallica & GnR, hahahahaha, fuck no. They would be pelted with everything under the sun. Ive seen some moments like that at ozzfest. They just DONT fit what OZZFEST should be.
Slayer, Machine Head, Opeth, & Strapping Young Lad would be some choices id like to see on the next ozzfest.

I saw Slayer(99, 04) and Machine Head(97) at Ozzfest. Both great bands, but SYL and Opeth would be cool to see there too. I would like to see Slayer, Fear Factory, SYL, Demon Hunter, Bleeding Through, As I lay Dying, Anthrax at Ozzfest. But that will problem never happen. Tired of Metallica, Gn'R sucks without Slash, Duff, and MAtt. Soulfly would be cool. Sepultura only with Max.

Id like to see Metallica. Slayer and Motorhead would be cool too. I caught Motorhead at second stage in 98. It was awesome. I liked Soulfly's first record. After that they just went down hill. (IMO) Id like to see C.O.C. too. Maybe a DOWN reunion. Rebel Meets Rebel and Black Label. If Opeth plays that would give me a chance to check out another band or take a nap.....

Axl still thinks people give a shit about him....
it shouldnt be guns and roses ....it should just be AXL Rose....
and if it happens it would be a very low spot for ozzfest...
can you imagine Axl following As I lay Dying, or In Flames...

Come on...

They should let people vote on the bill anymore, that would definitely make the crowd happy and people would wanna go.

voting is a good idea. I vote to put a restraining order on Axl Rose....he must be 50yds away from any microphone at any given time.

If Axl Rose is even going to be there Im not even going , who the hell is really in charge of the Ozzfest line up. If they bring Axl I hope everyone leaves when he comes out to play. Guns and roses will never be the same with out the rest of the crew. And lets face facts Axl just isent the frontman he once was.

From what I heard Jack and Sharon are in charge of picking the lineup. Let's start a petition if GNR gets on the bill. AXL's time is done and gone about 12 years ago.

The only way I'm into watching Axl's set ( I refuse to call it G N' R) is if Buckethead is playing with him. That dude is beyond awesome.

You know I hear almost the same rumors every year when ozzfest is picking the list. But, every year Metallica's name is in there and still if you look around there is nobody that can prove that rumors. I agree it would be great to see them play there but I dont think lars would do anything that he could not control!!

One I did hear is that neither Ozzy or Black Sabbath is going to play at all. On Ozzfest.com you can vote for who you want to see http://www.ozzfest.com/survey/2005/?cid=257908

you can bitch and list the bands that you would like to see on there

Metallica would have to pay me to see them. I'll lay even odds that Axl walks off the stage by the third song; that is if he even shows up. I also agree that his time is up. I also think there should be a petition to keep Sharon Osbourne away from anything that has to do with Ozzfest. After what she did to Iron Maiden she deserves to be pelted with anything that comes after her.

Asl should be nowhere near Ozzfest, if he is the there should be a boycott. He wouldnt be the first lame act at Ozzfest. I was there when CRAZY TOWN played :? I had no Idea why they were there. It was funny because two kids that sat in front of us had shirts made up that said "crazy town = GAY' Now I dont want to offend any possible C-town fans that may be on this board. My point is they shouldnt have been at a metal show. And neither should Asl Rose.

I tried to put a link on here but It didnt work, so go to Awful Plastic Surgery.com on the right hand side of the page, look for "Axl Rose hits the wall" its a before an after pic thats pretty scary and funny too.[/url]

I've heard System of a Down and Disturbed as co-headliners. Ozzy might not do it and the event will be headlined by Rob Zombie year after year. This is just what Pittsburgh radio is saying...

I heard Children Of Bodom may be playing. It excites, and dissapoints me. I want to see them live, but know they will most likely just play "Are You Dead yet?" tracks. Bummer.

man fuck all those old acts - i would cream if the main part of the line up was

Killswitch Engage
Between the Buried and Me
In Flames
Trivium
Otep
God Forbid
Throwdown
As I Lay Dying
Atreyu
Shadows Fall
and Iron fucking Maiden!

fuck this Black Label Society, Rob Zombie, Metallica shit - let them run their own tour that nobody would go to. Assemble a good god damn line-up, hell I remember years when Chevelle was on Ozzfest - even that would own all!

just my opinion
