Thay guy is pretty damn good, I've seen that video before. Here's what I don't understand...when you see someone that's very good, why does it discourage you? I mean, when I see someone like that, I think to myself "I can do that!" It inspires me more than anything. Makes me wanna learn that much more and work on my playing. I mean, that's why I play in the first place, I love to play! I've never looked at the drums as a job, I fucking love em! I never wanna lay them down when I see someone that is leagues beyond me, I wanna be leagues beyond where I am now. And I'll get there too. :D Let things inspire!

Holy Jeez. I like how his kit's set up... very tight in (I don't know how drummers play at arms length!)... and the ride cymbal's on the lefthand side, right above the hat. Somehow that makes sense to me. Did you notice he left sticks it AND the hat, and plays the snare primarily with his right. Cool!-------->JMS

I may have quit or failed on other important things in my life, but I will never give up playing, if even for my own amusement.

A little CowBell in there and I would have loved it....... Don't quit because of this guy.

I look at Hendrix and SRV videos everyday and get inspired.... not the urge to quit.

Yeah definately some Cow Bel in this area. LOL

The quiting thing was more of a figure of speech. It's actally great watching someone like that...Very inspiring. Even though this guy has no doubt put in some serious practice and studying and you would think somewhere along the way he would have figured out that cowbell makes great drumming even better (first chapter in "Drumming for Dummies).
