I'm sorry that I didn't get to see all the bands on Sunday but I did catch
"Pelt" . Hey these guys kick ass. I thought they did a great job, musically and stage presentation. They are worth going out to see.
And I caught "Lonewolf" what can I say ...Jeff you are one hell of a musician...the guitar work ...was wow. and the vocals right there. and on top of that your a great personality. I also caught some of "Silver Sunday".....they also sounded great. And hats off to Ray for the sound....and lots of it.
But I did think more musicians should have been there and supported the cause. Remember you could be asked to do the next show and I'm sure you would want to have the support of your fellow musicians.
And to the acts I didn't catch, I k.now you did a hell of a job.....I did catch the feedback..........Rock & Roll For ever!

I 'm very happy with the support we received from all present. I think everyone there signed and filled out a letter. That itself suprised me.
We also added to the bank roll with donations.
The fire company wants to do it again, but this time outside. We had many people wanting to help with the next go round. Buinesses wanting to help with advertising and sponsers. At least one beer distributor wants on board.
Many thanks to all the bands who did play. I feel Sunday was a time when every band present got our message across to the public. It was a great thing to see everyone send the same message out and be together on it.
Also to the bands thanks for your patience in my dealing with the unforgiving room acoustics early on.

I'd just like to echo what everyone has already said. Sorry I only caught the first three bands (and Lonewolf), but I had a gig obligation in Altoona.
Two by Four was a cool group of young musicians and keep your eyes open for the guitarist. In a few years, he'll be ripping up the stage with his guitar pyrotechnics.
Then and Now played both a mix of cool covers and some well-written originals. And of course, the bass player gets a thumbs up from me for playing a Spector through an Ashdown rig (
).
I finally got to see Pelt and was amazed at how tight they were. I was really, really impressed with their vocalist. He has a great voice and great stage presence, a very underrated frontman in this area, IMHO.
Jeff, Lonewolf - What can I say? Still one of the best guitar tones in Central Pa.
I hate typing these types of posts, because they always seem contrived and ass kissingful (see I made that an adverb
), but I'd really like to give the performers who dontated their time credit for coming to support this worthy cause.

"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.

Hey, this is Ray from Then and Now speakin'...
Just got word of this forum through Ali, one of our female vox. I want to thank everyone involved for making that gig happen. There's a lot of names to be mentioned, and I'm sure I'd miss half of them, so I'm not going to bother even trying.
Eveyone that I heard sounded good there. And all in all I think we can say that we did a fine job for the firehall, and for the cause.
Bassist_25 - thanks for the compliments on my mini gig-rig. Yes, that's the mini one. Spector -> Ashdown is an absolute win.
Here's to hoping for more future gigs, and to helping us rethink that worthless restriction.
Thanks again everyone, see you around the forums...
