Hey everyone!

What do you guys think about all the RP metalheads getting together and hanging out one night??? I think it would be cool as shit to shoot the shit with some of you in realtime. We could easily exchange cds and shit there.
It would be even cooler to have some GREAT metal playing through the speakers.

Anybody interested??

however, fuck the lions den - this sounds like something for the williamsburg community centre or something - lions den is too small and too centrally located in "the enemies camp" for rockpage shows to work..

i'd be down for something of that nature (hell im gonna need something to do until E.o.A or whatever the new name becomes gets back going) to do -- ill list off some bands here, this would be an awesome group effort too..

i can tell you one thing - the draw wont be anything more than all of us and like 3 people in Altoona - that's the nature of the beast - the adults wont come because it'll be all ages and no beer (unless we do a field party, which would be cool as fuck) - the youth of Altoona for the most part are VY kids, or influenced by VY kids, or they're into emo music ala Dropout High (you remember them, dontcha Gelvin?)

i did forget a few bands on here..

I'd def. be down with any or all these bands doin this.
I think Williamsburg is a good location because their really isn't much else to do. Especially with Condemned Existence And Death Upon Arrival being local faves. Plus I believe you can drink at the community center.
Of course nothing ever stopped me at the Lions Den either, hehe.
We should seriously do this soon.

You guys should get a BBQ goin in someones back yard, kegger, set up on a back porch and have a slammin time. Have the bands bring thier friends, start early. You should do it where EOA plays, just to piss the neighborhood off!

Seriously though...what about Johnstown? I hear they're trying to be a metal place there. A friend of mine is in the band "The John Denver Flight School" or something like that, and he told me as well as some other people that live there and Windber that they like to see metal acts around there. Now, I'm not saying that I don't want to play at Williamsburg, but it's just another place of suggestion I guess. Hell, we could do a mini tour if we can't find a place, couldn't we? Play one month in Altoona, the next month in Johnstown, maybe hit up Somerset, Bedford, and why not go into Maryland? Ok...I'll shut up now.

I would say ozzfest, but I dont think there alot of people going to it. I think because of it being on a tuesday. Lets all get tickets to ECW when it comes to altoona in aug and go there. Or on a sunday night somewhere even at raystown. My main Idea is lets get a bus and all go to the ENDZONE that would be a night to remember.

Have you been watching ECW? All it is is WWECW. I went to the house show in Belle Vernon earlier this month hoping a house show would be more like old-school ECW, but it wasn't. The matches were good, but they weren't ECW matches.

once ECW goes to seperate tapings and shows (which they will, once they realize that the WWE touch to ECW is killing it) it'll return to being ECW.

hopefully they get back to the way they used to be... I think RVD and Sabu getting busted for pot, pills and paraphenalia over the July 4th weekend was the final nail in the ECW coffin...I think Vince is just going to run ECW into the dirt..The old skool fans like me don't really like the new product and the WWE fans don't like the ECW product. And the NEW ECW is just gonna be a crossover for all the WWE stars instead of bringing back all the old ECW roster.. Look what vince did with XFL, and the WWE Experience in times square, after he realized he wasn't gonna make any profit he shut them down...Maybe we can have a ROCKPAGE METAL SHOW w/ backyard wrestling going on while we jam...there's a few people I know I'd like to powerbomb thru a flaming table or two
