Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes!
I didn't get the cake with the stripper in it...yet. The weekend is still young...
As songsmith eluded to, I did celebrate by doing the roadtrip to Harrisburg to check out Indigenous and Matt Mays & El Torpedo at the Whitaker Center. Excellent show, Indigenous put on a blues rock clinic! Matt Mays & El Torpedo was good as well, doing heartland-styled rock (I don't know if I can say Americana rock with these guys, they're from Nova Scotia!). The Whitaker is a great room to see a concert.
By the way, since the name has come up here on Rockpage before, Victor Wooten is playing at the Whitaker on Sunday, Nov. 26 (Thanksgiving weekend); The Lee Boys are opening.
I'll be out and about continuing the birthday celebrating around the area this weekend.
