I saw an Earth bass rig at Crazy Hazy's a few years ago, but I didn't know that they had made PA gear. Tuck 'n roll!!!

I wonder what happened to the bass rig you saw? did it look basically like that?

I purchased the Earth bass rig from Crazy Hazy's and it looked just like the PA gear but with black tuck and roll! It was 100 watt all tube with a single 18 in a 1/2 W style cab. I have since sold it to another local bass player who is using the cab to gig with? Earth gear was pretty high quality in the day!

Looks like the Pa my dads band had back when I was a kid, his was a gold covering but looked very similar. I have no clue what brand it actually was though.

It would actually be cool to load those cabs with some good drivers and go out and rip it up.

I know Jeff my bass player has a Kustom rig that looks similar with the cushy foam pudding. I bet it was comfy in the van laying around on the gear.

P Mac, awesome story! If you don't mind me asking, who's gigging with the Earth rig now?

We usually always hire production companies or use inhouse sound, but occasionally we'll play at the Petersburg Tavern and just use a vocal PA (we played there last week, actually). When we do, I haul out my Kustom PA cabinets. For little cabs, they put out the sound.
