If by "feeling good" , you mean touching your privates, I would have to say "certainly".

Eddie Money has had a respectable string of hit songs dating back to the mid-70's. I grew up listening to his first album & play one of those songs still today with my current band. I'm taking the apparently unpopular position of being on Mr. Money's side. His music today is classified as "classic rock" & I agree. It's good rock n roll that has made him a national recording artist & worldwide performer. I mean, this guy gave up being a cop to pursue his dream of music - that's cool. I also respect his longevity - I can only hope & pray that I'm still playing the drums when I'm his age. I say his music is worthy of a listen any time.

I gave up my dreams of being a cop to pursue cocaine.
That's not as respectable. But it was fun regardless.

Well, not really 'cuz there's always someone that will fill his billet as a police officer. More so because he had the "grapefruits" to pursue his dream of being a rock star regardless of his former occupation. And he did just that. Not many people can say that they accomplished what he did.

Some day my name will be as cool as Eddie Money. I'm thinking of changing it to Big Peter Cashflow or something.

It is quite easy to ridicule an ancient picture of an artist whose work might be considered out-dated, is it not?

I played in a hairband tribute in '02 that opened for Eddie at an event called Soberstock. (Basically a day-long event put on by Alcoholics Anonymous or some analagous organization.) Cool guy, and I've always dug many of his tunes.

It's easy to ridicule anything. Give it a shot, if you use me though I'm completely shameless. So no hard feelings.

Eddie Money like alot of bands paved the way for alot of music and all you that don't appreciate that got somthing wrong with you so don't disrespect any of his music, just because he is old skool. I would love to see one of these death metal bands cover any of his songs and do it well I bet it couldn't be done. So don't jump on musicians that have earned the braSS RING. tHATS MY OPINION .....................................................

I remember when the old 'Sever' re-did Flock of Seagulls 'I Ran'. Suprised the shit out of me. But it was a damn good remake. Plus you could break a chair over someone to it.

For anyone getting upset about this post....who cares! You like what you like. I'm not dissing Eddie Money, the guy is a respectable musician that has done it for years. Can I make fun of the way he looks and how they did things back then? Sure. Just like you make fun of old pics of your mom and dad when they were in high school. Ever see one of those yearbook pics? So loosen up all you tight fuckers!
