Ok, lots of beer talk going on. The moose head thread got me thinking. Check out this link about beer names.

I'm over at Dave's drinking some Heineken right now.
I'll drink just about anything, but if I'm buying it's usually imported.
Domestic brews usually have no flavor, unless they're micro brews.

Well, I do....I can't stand that Cranberry Lambic. A name of a beer I like (and its one of my favorite beers) is Arrogant Bastard. My friend got a homebrew kit and their version of Arrogant Bastard is called Belligerant SOB. I thought that was funny.yeah that was some wild shit, I don't think Sam Adams has made a bad beer ever

Give me a tall glass heavy lager anyday. I want to see foam clinging to the side of my glass. I want to take one sip and blow a .15 into a breathalizer!faeriewench wrote:I agree. I hate having to chew my beer.

I had some Utopia in Boston on a recent trip. WHOA! It was basically flat and quite strong, but very tasty. It took them 13 years to develop a strain of yeast that could survive in a brew with that kind of alcohol content. I'm not sure what it cost because I didn't have to pay for it.Charltor wrote:I've had Sam Adams Triple Bock, but that 48 proof Sam Adams Utopia looks like its the shit!!!![]()

IMO not a good example of a wheat beer AT ALL, a really REALLY good one is Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat. Yummy...Jimi Hatt and I once had a conversation extolling the virtues of wheaty beers... now that I'm legal to imbibe again, I'd like to try that Cherry Wheat beer... my interest is piqued.-----
Did you just turn 21? No offense dude but you look a little older. Like 31.

Yes Ron, I spent some time in Germany too. That is some good brew. We used to call it the "priest beer". We would say a little prayer before indulging in many bottles.Ron wrote:Two words on wheat beer Johnny...
