I havn't seen any national acts this year. Its hard to say who was the best local band I've seen, but I'll say h8ball, because it was a total surprise. I went in thinking "who the fuck is h8ball?" and they totally rocked.
You guys should all be PM-ing "Mo Lester" who's on here from time to time. He plays for H8Ball. He's also a cool guy you can count on, has a twisted sense of humor, and he plays banjo very well. One of the unsung local heroes, in my opinion, and as musically flexible as anyone you know. I respect that. Doesn't formulate wide-ranging postulates based on 2 years of experience in bar-bands. He climbs onstage, puts his head down, leans into it, and rocks. Gotta love that. --------->JMS

Monty "Mo" Lester is the man! He's a groovy dude. He should form a band with Jules called the Groovy Dudes, because they're both such groovy dudes.
(Speaking of Mo Lester, I wonder what percentage of Rockpage has acquired a Hair Force One stage name at some point? Note to Michael Troy: PM Ron and get him to give you the "Hairy Member" moniker. )

Is "Mo Lester" the singer/guitarist, or the bassist, or the drummer for H8ball?

I have never had the chance to see Chastity, but I have their "20 years in the Making" CD. Great stuff. I may be mistaken, but you might have seen one of RedRum's last shows?
Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with Redrum yet. Paul Lancaster is one of the best guitarist I've seen in PA. He's like an Yngwie Malmsteen type. Only 28, but he rocks like no other. I'll have to get some links up here for anyone interseted in this kind of stuff. He opened for Jackyl and Quiet Riot in Cleveland last year. He sent his resume to Lizzy Borden, dont know yet about that, he didnt hear anything, but he most definitely got the skills to do whatever he wants to do, and thats not a lie. If anyone knows then they know what I'm saying.
