That's funny, Chief! You are one dedicated individual though, everybody knows that.moxham123 wrote:I have a van and I live by a river; so, I'm 2/3 of the way there already.
No, I haven't lived out of a vehicle but I've got a nice bench seat in my van to sleep on if I had to & I would do it for the glory of rock & roll!!!! I would try to stay away from any rivers though, too many bugs, don't like bugs.
I gave you my heart. Whatever God gave me.

Glad I'm not the only one who will scope out parking places in case I get tired on a trip. I just bought a newer model Taraus wagon earlier this year that's gonna be great for long road trips. Drop the back seats down, throw in an air mattress and some pillows and I'm good to go. Nice that I noticed alot of the rest stops on the interstates have State Cops posted there during the over night hours.Jim Price wrote:During magazine delivery week at the start of the month, my car becomes my office and dining room. And when I do roadtrips to see bands, I note where the parking lots are so I can pull off if my eyelids start getting heavy on the return trip.
The person below me enjoys a good spanking.

reminds me of a time after 3rd shift, I was on my way home with very heavy eyes and pulled off going up the mountain and the cops pulled in to wake me up. because somone called 911 and reported me dead.Mistress_DB wrote:Glad I'm not the only one who will scope out parking places in case I get tired on a trip. Yea well I'm surprised they didn't have you arrested. Of course, you probably weren't drinking if you just got off work but I bet they suspected you were. And did you know that if you sit in your car to rest (drank too much) or WALK home instead of driving they can arrest you. I think that is dumb and encourages people to drive drunk.reminds me of a time after 3rd shift, I was on my way home with very heavy eyes and pulled off going up the mountain and the cops pulled in to wake me up. because somone called 911 and reported me dead.

Oh, I've slept in the car a few times... most of the time, though, I was able to find a lovely (or not, as the case may be) young woman to shelter me from the cold rain and snow. However, because of my lack of, um, sound judgement in choosing said young ladies, I have many stories of adventure, passion, and regret to tell.
Suffice to say, I've had an interesting life so far.
The lowest I've gotten is the short time I stayed in an abandoned house and stealing apples to eat. I also used to hustle drinks at Old Sab's, get the money for them, then collect a free draft and pocket the money. Do this enough, and you could buy a loaf of bread, and get a buzz on.---->JMS
