We're playing Davey's in Hastings. Halloween's at Davey's are always special gigs for us.

Plastered Bastards are playing The Smiling Moose with Parasytic and The Mud City Manglers.
And then my 90's cover band Toad Eating Cantaloupe are playing Walker's Pub.
I get to pull double duty that night. At least the gigs are hours apart.

We want to have ya too...but we are booked for 2008....we are waiting now to see how we do with a busy November and the smoking ban. If our events in Nov can't bring the folks out, nothing will.....and we may reconsider bands. We've done what we can...we have a smoking lounge on the deck that protects them somewhat from the weather...on busy nights we will fire up the outside heater for them...but that gets costly. We'll see.

So, now that the parties are over....How'd every one do? We had about 400 turn out for Kyx on Saturday. It was a blast! Lots and lots of costumes. Everyone was pretty well behaved too. A lot of food sold after the band ended...its always good to have a cook on all night :)

I was too busy to take pictures but there are a lot of folks on myspace with pictures of the night.....I'm going to have to build a collection from there.

How were the other parties? I love stories....

Love this time of year, our cruise had great weather and the scenery was magical. The Redman is always a great Halloween party also, some peeps outdone themselves costume wise.

Ahh High Five!

We had an awesome turnout at Cafe 210! We were told to expect the worst, cuz most of the students go to private parties on Halloween---not the case this year, I guess!!!

I was happily surprised by the ingenuity that went into some of the costumes...one girl showed up as a "girl gone wild". She had a tee shirt hiked up above her boobs, tons of beads, and a "censored" sign across her chest held up by a skin-colored tube top. It was hysterical.
