The loss of Mitch saddens me. I really loved his drumming, he was one of my all time favorites. The line-up with him, Jimi, and Billy Cox was the best. Mitch was so jazzy, and yet could really lay it down in a rock context. He was genius. I guess he and Buddy are both drumming w/ Jimi in the the celestial hereafter now. Mitch was the last of "The Experience" line-up. 'Scuse me while I kiss the sky...R.I.P.

Totally agree! I was never a big fan of Noel's playing, perhaps because he was a guitarist-turned-bassist and it showed in his playing,; but the Hendrix/Cox/Mitchell line-up slammed.Gallowglass wrote: The line-up with him, Jimi, and Billy Cox was the best.
Mitch will be sadly missed.
