I ordered a lefty Rhoads body from Mitch @ KNE Guitars a few weeks ago and I finally got it yesterday. I built it last evening, but didn't paint it yet. It's basically a mock up to get everything fitted and get the bugs worked out.
Here's the specs:
Poplar body
24 fret/25.5" scale
Recessed Floyd
No trem cover
Reverse Strat jack plate. (on lower wing facing upward to route the cable thru the strap)
1 volume/1 humbucker
I bought a new Jackson DK2 lefty a few months ago and I stripped it, sold the body and I used all of the parts from that onto this body.
Jackson neck/tuners/locking nut/neckplate
EMG '81 w/ 18v mod
JT-580 LoPro trem, etc....
It went together extremely well and what's so sweet is that the neck pocket/scale length was 100% spot on! I didn't have to intonate it at all, which was very surprising because the saddles were set-up for the DK2.
I told him not to drill the holes for the neck, so that way I didnt have to plug and drill my neck. I matched up the holes/scale length from my neck and drilled the bodt to match.
Also the neck heel was a flat style, and kind of thick, so I tapered it toward the front, to match my King V's.
I went with Poplar, because that's the wood that Jackson used on their Rhoads and King V bodies back in the late 80's - early 90's and that's what all of my King V bodies have...
First time buying from Mitch, and it was a pleasure to deal with him, cause he was very good with communication and he emailed me with any questions before he proceeded with anything.
He's giving me 10% off my next order, so that Charvel Star body is looking better and better
I got my USB port figured out, so I'm able to post some pictures finally.
As soon as my GF wakes up, I'll snap some pics of this and also update my Focus 1000 thread.
Stay tuned.

Here's a shot of the neck heel after I angled it a tad bit:

Here's a shot of the Strat jack plate:

I have an EMG '81 w/ 18v mod in it right now, but later today I'm going to drill and put a mini toggle to go from 9v to 18v.
I also put Schaller strap locks on it.
The bevels and contours were really sharp because it was cut with a CNC, so I had to knock them down and round them off a little bit, so the primer, and paint sticks better.
Plays awesome and sounds great, I'm very happy with it. Too bad I had to strip a $600 DK2 for the parts

Sucks being a lefty cause I have to build everything myself...too bad Jackson doesn't make more for us..
