Same old song and dance
Same old song and dance....... Here's what bothers me. The war in Iraq was not illegal and my have been ill advised and mis-handled, but there is a definate strategic advantage to the US to have stable moderate governments in place. Obama and Biden both new that and they knew that these conflicts had to be taken to the end with a winning strategy. It was going to take a length of time to "win" and get things done right.
But they ran on the same old partisan rhetoric about how they would end it soon, bring the troops home and make the world a better place. They lied and knew they were doing it. They couldn't have said otherwise and had any hope of winning. How's it feel now Hawk?
I'll say it again. Both sides are quilty of this BS and we sholder the responsibility for the mess they make.

Just so I have everybody's motives correct:
Conservatives during Bush Admin:Iraq War good, Afghanistan secondary.
Conservatives during Obama Admin: Iraq War bad, Afghanistan bad.
Me: Iraq War unconstitutional, unnecessary and expensive in money and lives lost; Afghanistan underfunded and strategically botched.
Osama bin Laden would be spinning in his grave except that HE'S STILL ALIVE. How ludicrous is it that the leader of the 9/11 attacks has been drawing breath for so long? I fully support the war in Afghanistan, always have, in fact, I think we should have NEVER gotten into Iraq ESPECIALLY because we hadn't caught Bin Laden... Deadeye Dick felt there were more "valuable" targets in Iraq. Hmmm, like the oil?... Lord knows there's nothing but shit, rocks, and CIA poppy fields in Afghanistan. And the most wanted man on the planet.--->JMS

The only change I see coming is the allowing of millions of illegal immigrants to citizenship status, and a friendly handshake to Cuba, and of course taxes going up.

maybe. probably. the funny thing is that obviously, the people picking up the tab for the war aren't privy to this info as well. all i want to know is why. if it's a good enough reason, i could start supporting it.
and songsmith... are you implying that we could be invading countries with large supplies of oil to quench our own nations thirst for the black life blood of the world?

Can you identify a genital wart?

I'll talk music with you man. Whatcha wanna talk about?Feelgood wrote:I thought I came onto Rockpage to talk about music.
Writing any new stuff with the hip hop project? And how could I get a cd of that stuff. I really do like some of it.
The closest the op has come to starting a thread about music recently was Carlos Santana wanting pot legalized. We all get off topic(see my food thread) and it's not only music talk on here. But Yeah, I know what you mean. The broken record shit is insane. You should have to contribute 2 music related threads/ posts for every 1 off topic thread/post.

My hip hop project has been on the back burner a bit. I have been too busy writing school papers to write lyrics, ha. And I may be setting up a new online ordering page to purchase the cd. I have been slacking on that stuff as of late.DirtySanchez wrote:I'll talk music with you man. Whatcha wanna talk about?Feelgood wrote:I thought I came onto Rockpage to talk about music.

So, even though he ran as Change Incarnate, Barry Hussein is going to keep the same foreign policy as Bush and you are going to blame Bush. You liberals have taken the blame game to a new level.JackANSI wrote:More critically...
