coheed in allentown

Post by slackin@dabass »

amazing show.

the deerhunter opened for coheed. they sound very similar to coheed, but the music had a little more influence from other genres and they were obvious nods to country and funk.

coheed and cambria rocked the house down. it was roughly 180 degrees in crocodile rock, and it was literally packed full. i couldn't move side to side or front to back, that's how full it was, but when coheed came on, i forgot about how bad i had to piss, how bad the guy in front of me stunk, or how stifling hot it was in the building. they were that awsome.

anyone else go see them?

My friend kept asking me to go to this. I just wasn't up for a four hour road trip to Allentown.

I saw Coheed at IUP about four or five years ago. They put on one hell of a show and the light show was pretty damn cool itself.

I saw this band at Warped 2 years ago. They are very talented, but Claudio Sanchez's voice kills it for me.

I've never been to a concert where I had to leave in the middle of an act (a GOOD act) to piss. It's called self-control, I started using it around 2 years of age & haven't looked back.

Richard loves to drink. He said that he peed so much in that diaper that the diaper couldn't hold anymore...and...it started to run down his leg. Richard also pounds two to three bottles of champagne and said he doesn't have much, if any, of a buzz.

On another Richard Christy note...his new band got signed a few months back to Metal Blade. Album is due out in January.
