It is pretty much known that a lot of the money a band/artist makes is from Merchandising and concerts. Musicians can't expect to live off of record sales alone, especially when the record company takes so much of the profits from them.

wow. that sucks. And of that 18% that the singer gets, 55% would go to child support. Looks like im stickin' to slingin' oxygen.
