I want to write more songs, and maybe actually record some solo stuff so people don't think I'm lying when I say I write, and expand Mama Corn's fanbase and business profile.
With any luck, our CD will be out in the spring, and we've already discussed an upcoming gospel record project soon after. We've gotten more popular every year so far, so I'm hoping this is the year for us.

I also have to try to give up painting, too. It's too hard on my hands.

First, a review of last year's:

1 - Learn CPR and get certified check
2 - Start running to raise awareness for kidney cancer - Ran 4 5k races wearing my bright green shirt that says "Running to Beat Kidney Cancer" check

This year's:

1 - Learn sign language well enough to be able to hold a simple conversation and help others communicate

2 - Run one 10K and a half marathon in preparation of running the disney marathon Jan. 2012.

We actually started a non-profit at our bar called RACER - Runners Aiding Community Emergency Responders. This group is made up of runners and non-runners. This year, our benefactors are the Houtzdale, Ramey and Wallaceton fire companies. Our race goal is the Disney 2012 marathon. We will be holding several fundraisers throughout the year.
