A pottery. Need to transplant my jade plant that is getting larger. My mom gave me a very nice plant stand that my grandfather made years ago. The jade will sit nicely in that new pot on that very old plant stand.

jeans and a shirt and jeans and another shirt

unbelievable quantities of cookies, but the coolest thing was a 2012 calendar of my family, featuring my niece Sammi. This was September:

2 new Dimarzio guitar straps, a box of Ernie Ball strings, a mic stand drink holder, an MXR 10 band EQ pedal, a Shred Neck for practicing, a slip cover for my Mesa head, a Fender mouse pad, a Fender Custom Shop guitar cable, a new Invicta watch, and a "That Metal Show" t-shirt.

My wife loves me!!!
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.

i got a new 32" flat screen tv. pretty stoked. other than that, just clothes. it was fun watchin my niece/nephew open gifts.

but the best thing was a friend of mine - her nephew wanted a guitar for christmas. i was able to repair an older guitar and fix it up like new (for no cost - i had all the spare parts). the guitar was the only thing he asked for, and i'm glad i was able to help him get what he wanted.

An Ion Blockrocker portable sound system, Ace Frehley's biography, Jim Lauderdale's new CD (autographed, no less, and with a T-shirt), a Smithsonian Folkways bluegrass archive CD, an LED worklight that I'm reasonably sure gives off some sort of radiation it's so bright, Farkle, a Music Emporium gift certificate, jeans,...
I did pretty well, overall, and time with family and friends was even more appreciated, I really enjoyed Christmas this year.

Some socks, a guitars t-shirt, a beard/mustache trimmer (for anyone who hasn't seen me lately, that's funny!), $100, pictures of my niece and nephews (as the other niece couldn't visit, unfortunately), pictures of my g/f's kids, and a bunch of happy faces from the gifts I was able to buy this year :D

Our kid's were VERY happy to receive a Wii + 4 games, Easy-Bake Oven, Hello Kitty and Spongebob Squarepants items were EVERYWHERE!! They made out like champs and this year was the first year my two year old son really dug in and got excited to see what was in those presents. That was the GREATEST gift of all, seeing the look on their faces. My daughter didn't know how to act when she got not one but two things she specifically asked for from "Santa."
Boy, I really wanted to tell her I bought the stuff and that fat motherfucker had nothing to do with it....but I'll wait until she's older, like seven.
