yes! "George" is my fav character. Special mention to "Puddy" the new car salesman

PUDDY: (Handing a sheet of paper to Jerry) Jerry, I just need your signature, here, and we’ll get you that yellow car ready to go.

JERRY: Yellow? I wanted black.

PUDDY: I can’t give you black at that price.

and as grease minkey:

JERRY: So, Puddy, this is a pretty good move for you, huh? No more "grease monkey".

PUDDY: I don’t care for that term.

JERRY: Oh. Sorry, I didn’t know..

PUDDY: No, I don’t know too many monkeys who could take apart a fuel injector.

JERRY: I saw one once that could do sign language.

PUDDY: Yeah, I saw that one. Uh.. Koko.

Puddy has gerry at salesdesk:
PUDDY: Let’s finish this up.

JERRY: Did you two break up?(Elaine brokeup with Puddy so Gerry won't get his sweetheart deal he counted on ;)

PUDDY: (While punching up numbers on a calculator) That chick’s whacked. We’re history. (Back to the transaction) I just left out a couple of things:

rust-proofing..

JERRY: "Rust-proofing"?

PUDDY: (Reading off what he’s adding up on the calculator) Transport charge, storage surcharge, additional overcharge, finder’s fee

JERRY: "Finder’s fee"? It was on the lot!

PUDDY: Yeah, that’s right. (Continues reading off) Floor mats, keys..

JERRY: ‘Keys"?!

PUDDY: How ya gonna start it?

ROFL!

Might as well list all my faves: Seinfeld, King Of Queens, Married with Children, Three's Company, Sanford & Son, & last but not least...Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I agree that George Costanza is the best char ever. Alot of him is based on Larry David. I watch Seinfeld episodes over and over. It never gets old.

Cheers, especially in the years Coach (Ernie Pantuso) was on the show.

Here is his last scene.

Police Squad was very funny, and it reminded me of Sledge Hammer.

Count me in also as a Seinfeld fan. We often make Seinfeld references in the band. I watch the show and still think it's brilliant. Also, I have major respect for Jerry for ending the show when he did. It was a controversial move at the time, but it's clear when watching syndicated reruns that it never jumped the shark. I can't say the same for one of my other favorite sitcoms, The Simpsons. They just need to shoot that show between the eyes.

Other favorite sitcoms:

That 70s Show
Scrubs
Married with Children
How I Met Your Mother
M.A.S.H.
The Andy Griffith Show
Malcolm in the Middle
Titus

and of course, Southpark
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.

Been catching up on "how I met your mother"... pretty good show, i've been impressed.

I wonder how much beer they really drink while filming....

Frasier. Smartest comedy on TV. Also loved The Simpsons, The Jeffersons, All In The Family, Sanford & Son, Wings, Night Court. And last but not least, the most socially relevant show on TV, South Park.

I absolutely detest Seinfeld and Friends. Never found them funny in the least, and all Friends did was make me want to pat David Schwimmer on the head with a spiked baseball bat repeatedly as hard as I could.

Wings was probably my favorite growing up

Arrested Development was just pure genious

I don't know if this counts as a Sitcom but a personal favorite of mine was The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
Videos destroyed the vitality of rock and roll. Before that, music said, "Listen to me." Now it says, "Look at me."

Great show, every character is so off the wall funny. I think Charlie is going to be the break out star of that show. He was great in Horrible Bosses.

Seinfeld- My all time favorite,I watch it everyday. My wife gets annoyed when I yell out the scene before the actors do :D

30 Rock- Jack Donaghy is one of the greatest characters ever.

Arrested Development- Pure genius

Cheers- Just plain classic

Raising Hope- That show just cracks me up especially Burt,Virginia and Maw Maw

The Office- It has the most cringe worthy moments of all time.

Family Guy,American Dad,and The Simpsons- Animation Domination

It's Always Sunny In Philadephia- Hate that city but love the show

WKRP In Cincinnati- Doctor Johnny Fever!!!!

There are so many especially from the mid 70's to mid 80's.I watched entirely too much tv growing up.

"Night Court" was a great show, and I consider "1000 Ways to Die" a great comedy show.
Pour me another one, cause I'll never find the silver lining in this cloud.
