looking for open mic nights that allow plugged in artists w/ drums, etc.

Here are three that i know of.

Pellegrines Lounge, Altoona - Every Weds 9-?

Mugshots Bar, Gallitzin - Every Weds 8-?, mainly acoustic

Sankertown VFW, Cresson - Last Thurs of Every Month (starting in Sept), 8-11, full band set up

No, mugshots is in Gallitzin. The Blue Moon is closed (used to be the Trackside)

I think that was called the Blue Moon about 20 years ago and was Tom Kos's before he moved up to the Iron Horse.

ohh ok, i was confused. sorry about that. i don't know the exact street, its somewhat close to the IMS if i remember correctly. it's been a while since i've been there.

No, its not that place Jeff, Tom's old Blue Moon in Gallitzin is now the Wine Cellar and Mug shots was Franks Pier.

I just did some looking and found out its the old Gallitzin Hotel.
