Cory Slick R.I.P.

Post by Jim Price »

I'm saddened to report that Cory Slick, longtime doorman at 30 Something/City Limits over the years, lost his life in a vehicle accident in Centre County early Sunday morning. Here is the story from the Centre Daily Times website; he was 45:

I just saw and spoke with Cory a few weeks ago when Hair Force One last played at 30 Something. Cory was fun and had a good sense of humor; we would always joke around with each other whenever I showed up at 30 Something. Rest in peace, friend.

This is terrible news. :(

this is a shame. I haven't been to 30 Something in years, but I remember him as being a cool dude.

Very Sad. I also had the pleasure of working with Cory at API in State College. Horrible news. RIP Big Guy!

Use to joke with Cory all the time about playing Pantera or old Metallica on a banjo. Never will forget that. He was a real down to earth guy you could joke around with it, real easy to talk to & get along with. RIP dude.
