Hey whats up everybody, how you doing. Unfortunately today is the end of a chapter in the life of Eyes of Anguish as we have decided to part ways with vocalist David Welsh. The particular details will stay within E.o.A, but we feel that it is in the best interests of both Eyes of Anguish, and David Welsh that we part ways, and continue on seperate paths. This was a tough day and a tough decision to make, but we feel it was in the best interests of both parties that this occur - we would like to thank David Welsh for his dedication, and brilliance as vocalist for Eyes of Anguish, and his dedication to bringing us to the point of where we are today - we would also like to wish David the very best of luck in whatever projects he may take part in as he is a very good vocalist and will always been seen in our eyes as a brother, a good friend and as a part of the E.o.A family.
At this point we are looking for a new vocalist. We are looking for somebody dedicated to making music their lives, as we are very dedicated to taking this as far as possible. We are also looking for somebody with a good range in vocals, somebody who can sing and scream - very good stage presence. Somebody who has a very good capability to interact with the crowd, and who has the ability to write their own lyrics, or sing/scream lyrics written for them - whether it be melody or heavy (screaming). Serious vocalists only, we also don't want somebody who is going to dedicate their lives to drugs or alcohol, and somebody who is willing to do whatever it takes to make this project work.

A New Chapter for EYES OF ANGUISH is about to begin
A New Chapter for EYES OF ANGUISH is about to begin...
After a trying couple of days, some tough decisions, and some deep searching within ourselves to see what we want out of this project, what we want out of ourselves, and where we want Eyes of Anguish to go - we have taken into consideration absolutely every option, and have thought everything through - we would like to take a brief moment here and thank those who have continued to show their support through all of this, and we hope that you all continue to show us the same support and kindness that you have for the past 8 months since we stormed onto the scene. We have come to a decision on what we want, and we are happy to say that a new chapter for Eyes of Anguish is about to commence, and a new chapter that we feel, is a very very bright one.
At this time we would like to announce that we have found our new frontman. We have found the perfect man for the position, and somebody that we know is very well capable, and willing to help us achieve our goal of going to that very next level. This man has been involved in music since he was a teenager, and has seen many many projects through, and this man has become one of our biggest supporters and best friends in the recent past - it is at this time we would like to welcome Justin Gelvin as the new vocalist/frontman for Eyes of Anguish.
In Justin, we see a vocalist who truely understands the role of frontman, and the art of performing - whether it be singing, screaming, working a crowd, interacting with a crowd - and very good stage presence. We met Justin in January when he was still with The Vengeance of Carl Lee, and we quickly became supporters of each others' projects - we had formed a bond, a brotherhood, had planned a tour for july, and had every intention of taking eachother along the road to the next level. Justin also possesses a very good range in vocals, can scream and sing with the best of them, and is one of the best over-all frontmen in the area, if not the state. Justin also has a very strong desire to make something of himself in music, and he fits perfectly with the rest of Eyes of Anguish. We know that with Justin, he is going to be more than a very very good asset to this band, and will make us that much better, as we hope we will do the same for and with him..
At this Time, we are booked solid through the spring and summer - we plan to continue directly on that path - starting this weekend, April 8th in Blairsville, PA - at the Corner Pocket. We intend to be ready and at Blairsville, for Justin's first show w/ Eyes of Anguish. Justin is familiar enough with our material, and is talented enough that he shows promise of catching on very very quickly, and his ability to write, sing, and offer his input on the instrumentals are also very prevalent of Justin's world of potential and talent, we would once again like to thank Justin for coming on board and say that we are very excited for the future, and this new chapter for E.o.A, and we are honored to have you performing and working with us. We look forward to playing aside you, and taking Eyes of Anguish as far as we can possibly take it.
We would like to thank all of you again for your paitence, and consideration - we hope you continue to support us as we begin this new chapter, and we hope to make some new fans in this new era. justin gelvin is a hack... a hack at best. eyes of anguish must have absolutly no standards what so ever! gary probably talked them into it cause dusty wouldnt stand for such mediocrity i am sure. gary has wanted to get into justin's pants from day one. i bet i know what it is... i bet they feel bad for him, sorta like he was the little handicapped kid on the playground who wants to play basketball with you so you let him win and keep telling him "wow man, you should be in the NBA!" well maybe the WNBA... i think david hasselhoff would have been a better choice, jesus! you woulda been big in Germany that way anyhow. way to go guys you HAD a good thing going, and now you completely blew it. At least you have your stories "about the good old days before the induction of the mentally challenged singer." hahahahaha, they'll probably pay him in ice cream cones and lollipops, which could turn out to be the smart move actaully, of course there wont be much payment going out once people hear justins blend of country vocals and pop attitude. this just goes to show you, kindness gets you no where...

In case you didn't see....JUSTIN GELVIN IS GOD!! We've only practiced 2 times with him so far and will have probably 2 more by the end of the week and he's doing so well i think we'll be able to play our show in Blairsville this weekend...This dude brings a whole other element to our band we've never had before and are so happy to have choosen him...All i gotta say is...If you've never saw us before...PLEASE come do so, cuz Justin is a fucking awesome vocalist....and adds sooooooo much to Eyes of Anguish
