Guitar Hero game

I just got this game for PS2 and it is freakin awesome. Lots of great metal songs and a blast to play. My 9 year old daughter is able to play it on easy and the other levels are a real challenge, which gives the game a real diversity for musicians and non-musicians alike.

I was just curious if anybody else here had played this game and what they think of it.

I have heard a lot about it, everyone raves about it, but I haven't seen it first hand.

Awesome game.. i had the chance to play it over the weekend and it was VERY cool !! the only thing that was a little weird about it is if your a guitar player it takes a little getting used to because as a guitar player your instict is to strum with the music. This game you dont. you have to strum when the little colored things get to a certain point. Its hard to explain but after a few minutes it gets a bit easier. I highly suggest at least givin it a try its a real blast! and like they said in the above posts.. it has some great songs on it.

We had a giant LAN party @ IUP and this game was at one of the stations. It's really awesome. If I had a PS2, I'd own it for sure.

Speaking of games:

Did any of you play Indigo Propechy? That game is sweet but, I'm only a couple of hours in since I got it Sunday.
