There is always things like landscaping for others....hard work but with today's lifestyles, most folks do not have the time to do it themselves. Things like mowing and weeding and planting in the spring, summer and fall. Leave removal in the fall. And of course, shoveling in the winter. Another thi...

We cut it in 8 slices....but it doesn't matter how you slice it...it is still 11-12 lbs of pizza :) Uhmmm....why wouldn't you trust the meat from places? Just curious....we make sure ours is good...in fact, we eat it ourselves so why would we no...

No loopholes. Pretty much straight forward. It is about a 11-12 pound pizza. Its topped with pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon (really tasty). You have to order it 24 hours in advance with a $25 deposit. If two people finish it in one hour, they get the deposit back and $100. If you don't finish it...

Great post! The other tips I can think of: If you have never been to the bar, make a trip there prior to the day of your first show. Make sure you know how to get there and how the place is set up. If you are playing within a 20 mile radius of your hometown, bar owners like to get to know you as a l...

Working on a new project
I'm working on organizing a Locks of Love fundraiser for Monday, November 29th. It will be a 'ladies' night out' event. The Guest Hostess will be Charlotte Ames, from WTAJ TV 10. We will be having wine tasting, hair cuts, make overs, mini spa treatments, massages and a photographer on hand. If anyon...

Main point of my posting was to express concern that the unemployment compensation process takes over 8 months. During that time, it affects not only the employer who is appealing the claim, but also those employees who were granted money and will need to pay it back once the appeal is granted. Can ...

Warning about filing unemployment
Just realized that the guy on the phone the other week was not kidding...he told me they were 6 months behind on the appeals submitted by the employers. More like 8 months! We are just now getting notifications on our appeals for claims filed in December. We are winning them which is good for us sin...

Ok, but I still have two part-time jobs available. 15-30 hours a week. Must have a great personality and be neat in appearance. One cook/one bartender. Still waiting for applicants. Oh, must be willing to take a drug test. I do believe you are trying to prove a point. Why not one full time job inst...

I have two positions available at the Popper. Part-time cook 20-25 hours a week; Part-time bartender 20-30 hours a week. You must be available to work any night of the week. We do work with you if you need time off on a particular day. But the cook MUST be available to work every Thursday and Sunday...

I knew a tv producer...she was a family member to my ex-husband. I remember her telling us at one family gathering how different it is to work with people from NYC and LA. The group from NYC would rush to lock in a deal. A quick meeting..maybe lunch. Sign the papers and go. In LA, it was totally dif...

We dumped a lot of money the first few years into print and radio. We really didn't see the results because people would come in and ask us if we advertised in such and such or on this radio station or that...And we were... We have found that most people in our target age group are online. So that i...
