Stewart parody of Beck (too funny)
How about that. Nailed.
He cried, connected a bunch of random crap, and even brought up Hitler. I can't imagine the Neo's will respond as well, Ted Nugent's the funniest guy they have, but it's accidental. And the word "satire" doesn't appear in The Constitution, and is, therefore, not a real word.
Excellent point about the Founding Fathers believing in "humors." It points out the inescapable fact that they were not gods, and didn't possess some superhuman intellect (nor were they necessarily conservative or Christian, but that's another thread). That's my latest frustration from the wingies... the idea that the people who framed the Constitution were conservative deities, and that only wingnuts can invoke their ideas.
Jon Stewart gives the Right stomach ulcers, because he can recognize douchery, and make it funny enough for people to pay attention. Glenn Beck can't even recognize his own douchery, and is about as funny as a yeast infection. He's so boring, the world goes into slow-motion when he talks, because his self-importance imposes drag on the universe.
It's in the Constitution, though Hitler denied it!

I disagree.witchhunt wrote:RobTheDrummer wrote:Yea, I am serious. He's a real, emotional person. Not some fake, blathering talking head who does it for monetary gain and to impress the left.
Sorry we disagree but you described him perfectly in your third sentence. Of course he's trying to impress the right.

screw msnbc screw fox, glenn beck reads a little research and then makes opinions about issues. That is nothing i can go on tv and babble on for hours about topics and stress my opinion... plus glenn has got a horrible hair cut. He needs to stop going to liberal barbers or something for gods sake.
The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.
You have some indication that the White House is afraid of Beck? I want a baggie of whatever you're smoking, because that stuff makes you very creative.f.sciarrillo wrote:Beck must be doing something right for the white house to be afraid of him. Hell, I wouldn't be afraid of Beck in any situation, on-air, off-air, in an interview, debate, quarrel, skirmish, confrontation, knife-fight, game of pool, or nuclear world war. He's a crybaby wuss who says what he thinks a bunch of crybabies want to hear.
Glenn Beck is such a douche that Summer's Eve is suing him for patent infringement.--->JMS

Just look at how the white house has been talking about him. That should be enough in my eyes. And just because you are in man-love with obama doesn't make someone who disagrees with him an idito ..songsmith wrote:You have some indication that the White House is afraid of Beck? it doesn't matter anyhow because in 2012 they might be doing the same thing to Keith Olberman. At which point you will be saying the opposite of what you are saying now ...

Goldman Sachs historically contributes $ almost 2 to 1 democrat:

AIG is a little more traditional, giving contributions to whomever is in power...however, they gave more $ to democrats:

Same with JP Morgan Chase:

And Citigroup:

But AIG really, really likes Christopher Dodd:

In case you didn't hear, Lehman Brothers' North American investment banking and trading divisions were sold to Barclay's of Great Britain.
The DNC has been spewing this being "for the working man" bullshit for decades, and it has worked. How else could a moron like Jack Murtha pointedly and personally insult his entire constituency and still get elected by 20%? (before you try to defend Murtha, the bottom line is that median family income is significantly higher in Altoona than Johnstown)
The reality is, neither party is for the working man. Even though they both take their money, neither party is for big business. Both parties are only for themselves.
...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time...
