"A Thousand Faces" and "Overcome" by Creed are mine as far as favorite solo's are concerned. Tremonti is an amazing guitarist.

I would have to also say Eruption by EVH
Holy Diver by Dio (killswitch's guitar solo is pretty wicked also)
Stillborn - BLS

and.....as much as I hate hate HATE to say this....Freebird....guitar solo smokes. FUCK!

The script was written, and the villian was cast. The provocation needed, they will provide. They did it before, they'll do it again.

There is a period after "smokes". Periods normally end sentences and indicate the beginning of a new sentence. Learn English, it will help you not look like a tool the next time you open your face.

Just some advice.

And Flaw, fuck yea to the Devils Rejects. That solo smokes fuck in that movie.

Felix Kos's solo on "Jessica" yesterday afternoon at Pellegrines. Maybe the best solo I ever heard.

Thin Lizzy - The Boys Are Back In Town

While that is one of my favorites, here are a couple of others.

The Cowboy Song - Thin Lizzy
I Can't Wait Until Tomorrow - Gary Moore or the entire Corridors of Power album
Matthias Jab's guitar work on Love at First Sting along with Rudy Schencker.
And I know no one likes or has mentioned them ... but early Kiss solos with Ace and Paul
Having talent is one thing....what you do with it is something else

That's awesome. But in cases where I don't care and am using my privilage to be a smartass, I don't need someone else trolling on by giving me English lessons, all the while, just being a prick. Thank you, good night

Any rock song from the 90's.

Oh wait. Never mind. Those songs don't have solos.

This is a tough question considering how may great solos are out there. If I had to pick a Fav, right now would be the Steel Guitar solo in High Hopes from Pink Floyd.

I always wondered why The Division Bell didn't get more attention. I thought it was pretty good.
